When Interview Girl was a little girl, she always wanted to be a Pediatric Oncologist. Pediatric oncology is a field that treats children with leukemia. One day on a playground, she met a little boy who had leukemia and she got to know this boy. A few months later, he died. She never forgot her friend and she has been intrigued to try and help those with leukemia ever since. The profits from this compilation of these stories will absolutely go to patients suffering from leukemia.
If you have leukemia or someone close to you has leukemia, please share some of your experiences with this disease. Does your child have leukemia? What is life like for him/her?
This project is part of the Voices That Aren’t Always Heard Compilation Series
